Return and Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it – unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without prior approval will not be accepted.

Unless the item is damaged or incorrect (see below), return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Our boxes are often purchased as gifts and may not be opened immediately. However, we kindly ask that you contact us as soon as possible after opening the box if you discover any defect, damage, or missing item.

Please email us at info@bauxssie.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue.

We’ll assess the situation promptly and provide a suitable solution.

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, Bauxssie will cover the return shipping costs in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Under the ACL, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement depending on what is considered reasonable based on the nature, value, and expected lifespan of the product.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers, or plants)

  • Custom products (e.g. personalised or made-to-order items)

  • Personal care goods (e.g. beauty, grooming, or hygiene products)

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

  • Gift cards and sale items

However, faulty or misdescribed goods are still eligible for a refund or replacement under Australian Consumer Law, even if listed above.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you have. Once your return is accepted, you can place a new order for the replacement product.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If your refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
